Tikibird Aviary is a small home based aviary located in Headingley ,Manitoba (just outside Winnipeg) Canada. We can be reached at 204-888-4865 and welcome your call. Here at Tikibird we specialize in Senegal, Meyers, and Brown-headed Parrots, which are members of the Poicephalus family. We take great pride in breeding healthy, abundantly weaned, well socialized babies to approved homes. All babies are parent reared for the first three weeks of their lives and then "pulled" for hand feeding and socialization. Each baby is closed banded with our coded band, bearing our aviary code "TIKI" and a number that is assigned to the baby.

We hope each parent reared youngster raised for breeding means once less WILD caught bird that needs to be imported. It is our commitment to these species.

We provide a commitment to each new owner and their pets by ensuring that each new baby goes home healthy and weaned to a varied diet and that each new baby is fully guaranteed not to carry Pacheco's, Polyoma, PBFD or Chlamydia, that each baby has been DNA sexed and a sexing certificate is provided, that each owner is given a comprehensive information package and a laminated parrot First Aid Guide, that we will be here to answer any questions new owners may have now or in the future. My goal is to never have anyone say "the breeder didn't tell me that!"
